Suarez's remains will be taken, 25 March, to Avila where he will be burried with his wife while a State Funeral will be held on 31 March 2014. Suarez, the first elected Spanish Prime Minister after the dictatorship of Francisco Franco, died on 23 March at the age of 81 as a consequence of a respiratory infection provoked by the Alzheimer's disease he suffered for years.
